    Product Description

    Brand-new ACDelco lightweight AC Compressor for 1986-1987 Vin 7 Buick Grand Nationals and Turbo Regals w/6-groove pulley and C60 manual AC control. 

    The ACDelco unit Highway Stars sells is is a BRAND-NEW ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT lightweight AC compressor.

    It is NOT A REBUILT/Remanufactured or cheap aftermarket brand.

    This genuine ACDelco part is shipped oil-less in its original ACDelco packaging complete with new seal washer kit.

    If you are using R-134A refrigerant, you can purchase the oil via either of the links below:

     Oil, AC Compressor PAG Oil + UV Dye - for R4 compressors using R134a refrigerant 

    OR 

    Oil, AC Compressor PAG Oil - for R4 compressors using R134a refrigerant

    If you are using R12 refrigerant, the oil needed for the compressor is ester oil. You can purchase the oil via either of the links below:

    Oil, AC Compressor Ester Lubricant - for R4 compressors using R12 or R134a refrigerant

     OR

    Oil, AC Compressor Ester Lubricant with UV dye - for R4 compressors using R12 or R134a refrigerant

     

    NOTE:  It is proper service procedure to replace the Accumulator/Dryer Accumulator/Drier - AC System - ACDelco and refrigerant Orifice Tube (click here: AC Orifice Tube - 1987 - ACDelco, OR   AC Orifice Tube - ACDelco when replacing an AC Compressor.  Failure to replace these parts when replacing the AC compressor may result in poor operation or premature breakdown. When purchasing this brand new compressor from Highway Stars, if you do not include in the same transaction, the purchase of an ac drier/accumulator and ac orifice tube, the warranty on the AC Compressor will be automatically VOIDED, and is non-returnable, non-refundable.  

    Also, this new AC Compressor does not include a compressor mounted high pressure cut-off switch.  This switch is available for purchase separately (recommended - SKU# 9183) AC Compressor Cut-Off Switch - ACDelco or can be removed from the old compressor and re-used.
