This item is the PREMIUM OPTION which also includes the BLACK Mass backing (see photo) 1 piece reproduction Molded Carpet for 1984-1987 Buick Grand National, Turbo Regal, and 1987 GNX.
This carpet is pre-formed and INCLUDES BOTH Jute Padding (sound deadener) PLUS Rubber Mass Backing
(mass backing was factory original) already glued on which serves as an additional moisture and sound barrier.
We also have the cheaper (less expensive) version (polypropylene backing) which can be found all over the internet via other sellers.

NOTE: We highly recommend that you remove the carpeting from the box and unfold immediately upon receipt and check product. Do not leave it folded up inside the box. Pop the contours back into place if necessary. We also recommend that you perform an intital test fit of your new carpet BEFORE MAKING ANY ALTERATIONS OR CUTS so that you do not void the warranty.There are NO returns on carpeting, other than a manufacturing defect so please be cautious during installation and refer to the video or instructions if you have questions. Once the carpet is cut or altered, the warranty is VOID.

The fit is perfect. Declaimer, I have never installed carpet. I watched the vids online, and read the instructions. Advice- get chalk to mark your holes, and always go shorter and small than you think, you can always make the bigger. Use you old carpet as a rough template. The excess on the edges and front are annoying and you have to be confident when you cut. I used a regular utility blade and its super easy cutting from the bottom rather than the top with the strands, Also, I heated up old sockets on long extensions for all the round holes and it melts the rubber and strands, but cuts the hole perfectly. This made my car very nice, its worth every dime and effort to do it.

Nice Carpet
This carpet looks nice and fits pretty well. It was drop shipped and got here fast. I think the company that makes it is pretty much the only player in that game, so I would guess that this is the best carpet you'll find. I am still in the process of final fitting, Its made large so some edge trimming and fitting is required. It is a little large around the trans tunnel in the back seat. Color and quality is awesome. Jute padding is a little thinner than the factory stuff, but since its much newer, I'm sure its probably fine. I would definitely buy again.
