When your sheet metal is delivered, whether the item will be installed immediately or not, you MUST inspect the product to ensure no damage occurred in transit. You will need to carefully remove the item from the box, remove packing materials and inspect all sides of the product WHILE THE DRIVER IS PRESENT. If there is any damage, note the damage to the driver before the driver leaves, REFUSE the package and return it . Please contact Highway Stars immediately via email or phone Failure to follow this procedure will result in loss of claim
Your shipment is insured by the shipper. – If you find your item damaged, you MUST have the driver note the damage at time of delivery receipt and/or refuse the item.
If you find the item damaged after you have signed and accepted the item, and the damage was not noted on the delivery receipt and Highway Stars was not immediately notified regarding the damage, Highway Stars will not honor the damage claim. By signing the delivery receipt in good condition, you are certifying that you have received your item(s) in good condition. If you ship to someone other than yourself, you must let them know to inspect the item(s) for damage. If they sign the delivery receipt certifying that the item was in good condition when it arrived and you find any damage after the fact, Highway Stars will not honor the claim.
